360 Mall Entrance Road Speed Bumps

Earlier this morning, I noticed the three speed bumps which were right after you take the exit road from 6th ring heading to 360 mall.

Of course, I couldn't stop for the first two speed bumps (I'm sorry again LJ lol). by the time I reached the third one I was able to slow down. I wasn't aware that there were speed bumps here. I mean, come on? Lol who would come up with this hideous idea in the first place?

I don't like this. At least they should be moved further inside.

Facebook Page Calls For Beating Saudi Women Drivers

RIYADH (AFP) - A campaign has been launched on Facebook calling for men to beat Saudi women who drive their cars in a planned protest next month against the ultra-conservative kingdom's ban on women taking the wheel.

The call comes as activists are demanding the release of Manal al-Sharif, a Saudi woman who was jailed for defying the ban.

The page, titled "The Iqal Campaign: June 17 for preventing women from driving," refers to the Arabic name for the cord used to hold on the traditional headdress worn by many men in the Gulf, advocating the cord be used to hit women who dare to drive.

It has drawn over 6,000 "likes" on the popular social networking website.

Some on the page proposed distributing boxes of Iqals to youths and encouraging them use them to hit women who participate in the June 17 protest.

One joked about the price of Iqals going up due to men buying them before the protest.

The issue has sparked debate in the Saudi press.

Kim Kardashian Engaged

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is engaged to her boyfriend and basketball player Kris Humphries.

"I didn't expect this at all. I was in such shock. I never thought it would happen at home, and I never thought now," people.com quoted Kardashian as saying.


Humphries popped the question to her on bended knee with four words written in red rose petals: "Will You Marry Me?"

"I just knew I wanted it to be big," said Humphries.

Kardashian added: "Kris really didn't want a big celebration, but he had jokingly told my mom he'd be fine if there were mini-horses there," says Kardashian with a laugh.

"Later that night at the party, my mom brought out two mini-horses, covered in glitter, for us! It was hysterical!"

I was just reading Ansam's 518 blog when I read about Pinkberry introducing Mango flavor..

I like mango and very excited to try it. I also read that Pinkberry is introducing Watermelon-Cucumber flavor too.

However, what I would REALLY REALLY REALLY love to try is CUCUMBER frozen yogurt, with Watermelon topping.

It's sooo summery and freeesh. I've been craving for it for almost a month now.. HELP? lol
