Burger Mania

Skip the knife and fork! Make a succulent burger the center of your supper.

  • Instead of putting a slice of cheese on top of your burger, let it melt right in the center of the pattie

Ingredients

  • 1 pound(s) lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon(s) garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon(s) chili powder
  • 1/4 pound(s) Colby cheese
  • (optional) Baby carrots
  • (optional) Ranch dressing
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Directions
  1. In a bowl, combine 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 tsp. minced garlic, 1 tsp. chili powder and a pinch each of salt and pepper.
  2. Shape mixture into 8 patties. Top 4 of the patties with a small slice of Colby cheese and cover with remaining 4 patties; press edges gently together to seal in cheese.
  3. Warm a large nonstick skillet misted with cooking spray over medium heat. Add burgers andcook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Serve burgers on toasted buns and garnish with your favorite toppings. Put out some baby carrots and ranch dressing for munching.
